In India there are so many superstitions regarding with the snakes actually snakes are Holy Creature for Indians but some time snake intrudes human areas so humans killed them. There is smuggling & illegal business of snake poison & snake skin by poachers . So we are fighting for saving snakes from humans & running awareness projects on snake also. Tiger is the endangered species, we are concentrating now to save Tigers .

We hebben op 8 november een vrijwilligersdag in Den Haag voor alle vrijwilligers van JGI in Nederland (en er komt één afgevaardigde uit België). Vind je het leuk om hier bij te zijn. We doen altijd weer inspiratie met elkaar op en met nieuwe mensen erbij is altijd verfrissend. Het is van 11 tot ongev 1500 uur. Geef even een mailtje naar margot@janegoodall.nl

wat een leuke foto's allemaal! Doe je ook werk met dieren? wat voor opleiding volg je? Ik ben donateur van stichting Aap al jaren maar ben er nog nooit geweest! Je hebt daar vast veel gezien en geleerd!
Ikzelf heb diverse keren gesolliciteerd maar ben altijd afgewezen omdat ik geen opleiding op het gebied van dierverzorging heb gedaan. Helaas is er ook niet veel aanbod van banen met dieren hier in Nederland maar als vrijwilliger en als dierenbezitter heb ik toch veel contact met dieren!

Nog niet bekend genoeg, maar daar zijn we wel hard mee bezig. Als je hieraan mee wilt helpen, je bent altijd welkom! Zie ook www.janegoodall.nl
We hebben steeds meer contacten met dierentuinen, we staan ieder weekend in Blijdorp, we zijn steeds vaker in de Beekse Bergen (waar ook chimps zijn) en andere dierentuinen hebben steeds meer interesse. Zelfs R&S, wat in NL niet geweldig loopt, is de laatste tijd weer interesse (met name van internationale scholen). Voldoende hoop voor de toekomst :)
