- About Me:
- Hello, my name is Rachel. I am a soon to be freshman at UC Santa Cruz, but for now I am a Senior at High Tech High, San Diego. I have been passionate about the natural sciences since age 3 seconds. This is why it is not surprising that I am a part of the High Tech High Roots and Shoots program as well as a member of the first annual High Tech High African Bushmeat expedition. My specific role in this team is team artist because of my skill in the field and simply because I enjoy it.
Aside from what I do for the Roots and Shoots oriented programs, I also work in the Paleontology department at the San Diego Natural History Museum. If you have questions concerning how to get involved at the Museum feel free to contact me.
In my spare time I love to do the following:
Any athletic en devour (especially Rowing, Soccer, and running)
Travel
Sketch
Read up on my Dinosaur info (I am an aspiring Paleontologist)
Read (currently reading David Sedaris, Brian Greene, and Dean Koontz)
Play Computer video games
Listen to classic and alternative rock, as well as world music

Since when are you passionate about the natural sciences? I don1t get, what "age 3 seconds" mean. (I understand age 3.). It must be great to work in the San Diego Natural History Museum. Could you please write me how to get in touch with the right people? Regarding your sparetime activities, i shall say we have a lot in common.

In India there are so many superstitions regarding with the snakes actually snakes are Holy Creature for Indians but some time snake intrudes human areas so humans killed them. There is smuggling & illegal business of snake poison & snake skin by poachers . So we are fighting for saving snakes from humans & running awareness projects on snake also. Tiger is the endangered species, we are concentrating now to save Tigers .
