Hi , I am Shailesh from India working in the field of Conservation from last 8 years for NGO ---Pugmark Wildlife Foundation.
In India there are so many superstitions regarding with the snakes actually snakes are Holy Creature for Indians but some time snake intrudes human areas so humans killed them. There is smuggling & illegal business of snake poison & snake skin by poachers . So we are fighting for saving snakes from humans & running awareness projects on snake also. Tiger is the endangered species, we are concentrating now to save Tigers .

Hello Nada, thank you for the comment on my page and for the friend invite. Wow, your life has so far been so exciting. You are so lucky to go to Africa. My dream is to someday go there and study animal behavior-specializing on elephants. I also would like to go to Asia ( India) to study the Asian elephant species as well. Again thank you for the friend invite and hope to talk to you soon. I hope we become great friends.

Profile Information

About Me:
I think I was born in love with nature... animals, marine life, forests, vulcans. I have always had excited "in nature" when i was yunger, and even now is the same.
I'm graduated in Environmental Science , with specialization in marine environment. I have begun my experience as volunteer student at the Anton Dohrn, Marine zoological station in Naples, studing the protection of marin turtle “Caretta Caretta”.
During my studies i spent one year in France, with Erasmus project. There I worked on a project aimed to evaluate the space/temporal evolution of Ceratium (a particular phytoplankton subset). During this period I completed several missions on the field, carrying out samplings and microscope analysis.
i loved this work and when i finished i made a thesis on.
Later i spent some monthes in Sardegna, a wonderfoul Italian island, working in a diving center and I become dive master; beautiful time...
But the most beautiful and richest experience I made was this year, when i left for Comoros Island, in Africa, to work like voluntary for an ONG, C3 (community centered conservation) about conservation and soufgard of marine and terrestrial ecosystems.
These months have been an intense hard working session of local village awareness raising programs, socio-economic surveys conducted throughout the island, staff training, and planning for future events. The hard work was rewarded with time to relax and learn more about the local culture, do some traveling up to the mountains close by, or enjoy some time off snorkeling among the coral reefs which surround the island. I had a lot wonderful friends and I loved the african's culture. They miss me
Now I have plan for my nearest future...Asia...

I am happy to share with you my passion, speacking of nature, meeting paople with my same passion... listening and living yours experiences...I say always: we, naturalists are a big family, with the same value, scattered around the world.
