Good Morning Kim..the weather in WI. been so crazy cold one day warm another..so I did SOME planting yesterday and of course we got FROST last night! hope your part of the country is a tad bit warmer!

Hi kim, thanks for adding me to your list. I'm in Pennsylvania, I am a die hard greeenie. Vegan, get 100% wind energy, no car, recycle everything, all of my invoices are sent to my email, leaflet all over town, support several enviromental groups. I'm also an animal rights activist, that turns some folks off but I'm happy with what I do and love to work for the greater good.

Hi Kim......Thanks for including me in your circle of friends. We aren't that distant from each other.......I'm in NJ......just 10 miles west of Manhattan. My children are grown as well.........now I devote much of my time to the rescue and healing of animals. It has been a cold day here too....keep in touch.

I am a real environmentalist, my whole life revolves around how I can reduce my carbon footprint. I am a long time vegetarian turned vegan (> 30yrs) and recycle everything I can, buy in bulk, buy organic, and drive a hybrid that gets 48 mpg.

Stymied!

I have onion sets and potato pieces to plant today but it's so cold and windy out there even I would blow away (and that's saying something). Tonight is supposed to go just below freezing and tomorrow is supposed to be the first and last day without rain for a good bit. I guess I'll have to jump to plant the onions and potatoes tomorrow. My Evolution

It's time to evolve. I'm not going to stay stagnant any longer. This world of mine must extend beyond my bedroom and kitchen. I'm growing up and getting outside more. I'm going for a well stocked pantry, a beautiful edible garden, and a happy, healthy family. I'm not going to sit around and let life happen to me anymore. No, I'm going after life with gusto! This blog will be the chronicle of my efforts.
