About Me:
I am currently finishing up my master's degree in Social Work in NYC. I work in a Domestic Violence shelter as a trauma counselor and creative arts therapist. I also am an animal lover and political activist. I have been vegetarian for many years of my life, and can't imagine living any other way.

In my free time I go to see as much live music as possible and dance my butt off. I love funk, classic rock, jam, hip hop, jazz, and the uncategorizable. The Beatles and Ani Difranco will always top my list. I also do yoga, but have been slacking lately due to school/work responsibilities. Even though I live in the city, I come from the mountains, and that is still very much where my heart lives. I love to snowboard and go hiking. I also love road trips and camping, especially at music festivals in the summer.

If you'd like to know anything else, feel free to ask, my life is an open book!

Hope you can view the above info. I read your profile and it looks like to better combine the slacking and the yoga. Check out my website for more info www.yogaslackers.com. Feel free to shoot us an email and I will send you a flyer for our brookland event/fund raiser. Look forward to hearing your ideas on social change. Start turning slacking into a positive.
