Profile Information

About Me:
I am a professor of psychology in the U.S. I've been fascinated by Jane's work from a young age when my father used to read National Geographic to me and my sister. Today, I work with my sister, Laura Johnson (also a psychology professor) on research and service projects for Roots & Shoots. Our aim to is document and share the powerful and transformative effects that Roots & Shoots has on youth's knowledge, character, and committment to social and environmental change. I've had the great fortune of making many friends in the JGI family by traveling to China, Italy, Uganda, and Tanzania. It is wonderful to be a part of this global community. I welcome any correspondance from R&S members and leaders. I also teach yoga in my town and am committed to helping others cultivate the mind-body connection. Namaste!
