Why is Renewable Energy so Important?

Most countries rely heavily on nonrenewable resources to supply their energy needs. The most common example of nonrenewable resources is fossil fuel. In contrast, renewable energy resources are constantly replenished and are important because of the benefits it provides for us as well as for the environment.
