the Jane Goodall Institute Community for Social Change

Try cleaning up one area, big or small, in your community. If it is big, try organizing it with multiple people, so you can get the community involved. I tried to organize something like this world-wide, with very bad results due to lack of proper resources for spreading the info, last year. I think that this will help to reduce the pollution in the areas, and also start a trend. If you see trashon the ground on any day, pick it up, but focus on one day a year on one spot. Try for a local water habitat, or just a road that you think needs to be cleaned.

Also, to add a little decoration to your newly cleaned area, buy some trees, or just some flower seeds, to plant to help the environment. This can be done cheaply if you hve a dollar store near where you live, as they carry many flower seeds, and even supplies that can help clean the area up.
